"While
the earth remaineth,
Seedtime and harvest

Genesis

Expect God to Act....
What do you expect when you pray? Is it that perhaps God will hear and answer?
Do you pray and then get right back to worrying and fretting about the situation?
Psalms 37:8b says DON'T fret and worry, that it only leads to harm! When we pray, and do not EXPECT GOD TO ACT but opt to continue to worry and fret, we void our prayer because God says that the man that waivers in his faith will receive nothing, and when He sees us fretting and worrying AFTER we've prayed, He knows we aren't trusting.
Ps. 37:7 says, "Rest in the Lord, wait patiently for Him to act. Ps. 42.11 also says to expect God to act! To expect means to look for it to occur or appear. Fretting and worrying means that I am NOT resting in the Lord, nor am I expecting God to act.
Have a Spirit filled day,
