Faith-bearing Seed for the Soul
"While the earth remaineth,
Seedtime and harvest
....shall not cease"

Genesis 8:22

"Got Smart?"

One day while studying at the huge Phoenix, AZ, library, I looked at the enormous number of books and thought, "If I only had 1/10 of the knowledge these books represent, I would have it made." The Lord replied to my thought with, "I know EVERYTHING that is written in those books and much, much more! All you REALLY NEED TO KNOW is ME and the fact that I love you and am always at your side."

When the enemy threatens my health...God, You know my body, You made it, and You know how to fix it! Se'lah

If my employment is threatened or has ceased...Lord, You know the things I have need of and You know how to supply my needs! Se'lah

Should I have a "people" problem...Father, You know mankind and You know me. You know how to fix relationships! Se'lah

Lord, there is NOTHING that the enemy can bring my way, that You don't know about, and all I need do is call upon You for the answer. I realize that I ALREADY KNOW the one thing that I need to know, and that is YOU and the fact that you are "on my side" ready to work all things out for my good. (Romans 8:28) I don't need volumes of knowledge to be content...I can be content in knowing this one thing....

"The very day I call for help, the tide of battle turns. My enemies flee! This one thing I know: God is for me!" Psalms 56:9 LB

"I am trusting God--oh, praise His promises! I am not afraid of anything mere man can do to me!" Psalms 56:10,11 LB

David, the author of these verses KNEW that God was on his side...God had already helped him defeat the lion, the bear and the giant! And God is on the side of every believer, ready to defeat the enemy!

SE'LAH...JUST PAUSE...and think about THAT for a moment!
