"Thank You FOR that!"

If you are in the biggest trial of your life and you are a Christian, may I suggest something? Thank God FOR it! But, but, my health is failing, you may say, or... I just lost my job and home...I recently lost a loved one, etc.

Ephesians 5:20 NIV (emphasis in verses mine)

...always giving thanks to God the Father FOR everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I Thessalonians 5:18 NIV

Give thanks in ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, for this is God's will for YOU IN CHRIST.

Why can we give thanks to God FOR ALL THINGS? Because God knows all about it and He has no intention of forgetting about what has happened to us!

Is. 49:15,16

I WILL NOT forget you.

See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands....you are ever before Me.

Have you wondered what that "tatooing" or engraving in the palms of His hands is? I suggest it is the nail scars that He obtained from being nailed to the cross, and He will never forget the price He paid for you...you are THAT precious to Him, and He is watching EVERYTHING THAT CONCERNS YOU.

Psalms 66:8,9

Let everyone bless God and sing His praises, for HE HOLDS OUR LIVES IN HIS

HANDS, and He holds our feet to the path.

This chapter tells us that it is the Lord that purifies us with fire and brings the floods into our lives. BUT, it says that He brings us THROUGH it all. The end result being a testimony! Before we can have a testimony, we must first have a TEST! When we thank Him FOR the test, a TESTIMONY will result. He is free to work it ALL out for our good as is promised in Romans 8:28. When we thank Him "FOR" the test, we are also telling Him that we believe He is in control of it and that we are trusting Him with EVERYTHING that concerns us.
