The Rest of the Keys...

We know from Matthew 16:19 that Jesus has given us the keys of the Kingdom, and whatever doors we lock on earth will be locked in heaven and whatever doors we open on earth shall be open in heaven... But, there are some more IMPORTANT KEYS that we need to be aware of!

Revelations 1:17-18 (Emphasis mine)

Then He placed His right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am theFirst and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! AND I HOLD THE KEYS TO DEATH AND HADES."

When Jesus sent out the twelve he gave them power and authority to drive our demons, to cure diseases, to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. (Luke 9:1-3) He gave them ALL AUTHORITY, and He gives us all authority!

We often focus on the keys that will unlock the doors to the blessings, all the good stuff, but what about the keys TO LOCK THE DOORS to the BAD STUFF that Satan is pouring out upon us? Jesus took Satan's keys away from him!

Hallelujah! Jesus now holds them, and He has given us all authority... therefore, those doors of demonic activity can be locked...the devil can be stopped from his vicious attacks...we have the keys at our disposal.

Many of us have loved ones held in bondage like locked up prisoners... there are those Satan has blinded to the truth. Blind men can't see! You can preach and preach to them but until their eyes have been opened, they will never see what you are trying to show them.

II Corinthians 4:14

The god of this age (Satan) has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of  God.

John 12:40

For this reason they could not believe, because....he has blinded their eyes and deadened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn--and I would heal them.

We need not sit back and allow this when Christ has given us ALL authority over the devil, when Jesus WOULD HEAL THEM! Satan has flung open the doors to Spiritual blindness, but...WE CAN SHUT AND LOCK THOSE DOORS...WE CAN TAKE OUR GOD GIVEN AUTHORITY OVER HIM AND LOCK HIM OUT! And we can loose the light of the Gospel, deliverance and salvation to our loved ones. Jesus came to bring sight to the blind, He has come to set the captives free!

Isaiah 35:3-6

Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution and he will come to save you." Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb shout for joy.

As a child I played, London Bridges Falling Down...and we sang, "Take the keys and lock him up, lock him up!" I've a new twist on it...anyone want to join in?

Satan's authority has fallen down, fallen down, fallen down.

Satan's authority has fallen down. My fair lady.

Take the keys and lock him up, lock him up, lock him up...

Take the keys and lock him up, my faith lady!

(It took everything within me not to write... Satan's' britches are fallen down...haha)

CHRIST has stripped Satan of his authority over the believer; He has given us the keys to the Kingdom...let's use them, all of them!

Father, we come in the authority of Christ Jesus and we lock the doors to all demonic activity that the devil and his cohorts are pouring out upon us and our loved ones. We bind the enemy from blinding their spiritual eyes to the truth, and we loose the truth of the Gospel to them...we lock the doors of sickness and all adversity that have been flung open and poured out upon Your children and we unlock healing, restoration and deliverance to be poured out upon us, in Jesus' holy name.
