There's a "Good" Shaking going on!

The earthquake in Turkey is indeed heartbreaking. However, it has reminded me of something the Lord showed me a while back.

I had a vision of a large hand coming out of the sky. It was God's hand...he held a sifter in His hand and scooped up His people... He would shake them until they were broken and fell through the fine holes... He would look into the sifter and continue shaking those that remained hardened... Then He spoke to me. He said, "If an earthquake came, what would you do?" I told Him I would hold on to what was solid and unshakable. He told me that was WHY HE was doing the shaking and sifting of His people...it was WHY SO MANY trials and tribulations were going on in the Body of Christ, that it was NOT Satan, but He was doing it out of His love for us. He said He was doing the shaking to get all those who have become somewhat hardened in heart to turn to and hang on to what was solid and unshakable, Himself. He said that there was going to be evil upon the earth like we've not know before, and only those who were holding solidly on to Him would survive it. Those that would not break were cast out behind His back.

Well, after that vision...we went through some shaking and sifting ourselves... I had no idea that I had gotten hardened in some areas of my life until the shaking and breaking began. The trials revealed the REAL ME that had some things that needed to be repented of. If you are going through a "shaking" right now, consider it as possibly God's wake up call to prepare you for these end times, and don't resent it, but praise Him for it!

Haggai 2:6,7 LB

For the Lord of Hosts says, in just a little while I will begin to shake the heavens and earth--and the oceans, too, and the dry land--I will shake all nations, and the Desire of All Nations shall come to this Temple, and I will fill this place with my glory, says the Lord of Hosts. The future splendor of this Temple will be greater than the splendor of the first one! For I have plenty of silver and gold to do it! And  here I will give peace, says the Lord."

And...OH...WOW! Hebrews 12:26 LB (emphasis mine)

When he spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but, "Next time," he says, "I will not only shake the earth, but the heavens too."

By this He means that He will sift out everything without solid foundations, so that only unshakable things will be left.

His people, now is the time to rejoice if you are being shaken to your rock solid foundation...for it's a GOOD SHAKING that's going on. He is preparing you, He is strengthening you and bringing you to a place of strong faith in Him. Thank Him for what is going on in your life. Rejoice that you are in His sifter! Se'lah! Stop and think about that!
