Seed for the Soul
"The sower soweth the Word."
Mark
4:14
Rolling the Stone Away
Many will visualize an empty tomb with the stone rolled
away, and will be singing, "HE AROSE, HE AROSE, CHRIST
JESUS LIVES TODAY," on Easter morning. Yet, as He
looks upon the earth, He sees many who refuse to roll
the stone away from their hardened hearts. For those,
His death is meaningless. But He still died for them.
Christ died for our sins...1 Cor. 15:3
Some refuse to acknowledge that Jesus is God in bodily
form. But He still died for them.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is
none other name under heaven given among men,
whereby we must be saved...Acts 4:12
Some claim that He was "a prophet and a good man,"
but they refuse to believe that God raised Him up
from the dead, but He still died them.
...if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and believe in thine heart that God hath raised HIm
up from the dead, thou shalt be saved...Romans 10:9
There are those in hell today, who now know that
Jesus Christ is Lord, and how they wish they had
believed that...
Christ died for our sins...1 Cor. 15:3
The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for
I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was
crucified. He is not here; HE HAS RISEN, just as
He said...Matthew 28:5,6 (NIV...emphasis added)
Today you can roll the stone away from the entrance
of your heart and ask Him to forgive your sins and
become the Lord of your life, or you can reject His
invitation. Don't be caught dead...wrong!
.... behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is
the day of salvation...2 Cor. 6:2
May His blessings be yours on this Easter Day!
