God is the Strength of my Heart

My heart faileth, my spirits droop-

Yet God remains. He is the strength of my heart; He is mine forever!

Psalms 73:26

Asaph is saying that even when emotionally drained... when we would probably give up, to realize that in spite of all else that surrounds us, the most important thing  is, and will always still be in tact, that the Lord is our strength and portion. Others may fail us, our own hearts and souls may deceive us, but God never will, and He has told us that NOTHING shall separate us from His love, strength and help in our times of trouble.
