Fear Not!

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed;

for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will

help thee; yea, I will uphold thee." Isaiah 41:10

Fear hath torment, the Word says. The enemy knows that he can immobilize us through the fear of what COULD happen. I am totally convinced that Satan is unable to touch us without the Lord's consent because, as believers, we are in His hands. Yet, through fear, through piercing our minds with threats of evil that he is unable to bring about, he is able to do almost as much damage to our productivity and progress in the Lord through fearful thoughts...We counter fear with faith, with KNOWING that God is with us, strengthening, protecting and upholding us. Among the many things that Jesus told His disciples, He admonished them continually to "Fear not!" He continues to tell us, "Don't be afraid, I'm with you, I'll help you through this unstable time, sorrow or pain."
