Mustard Seed for the Soul
Mini Seed For Thought

"While the earth remaineth,
Seedtime and harvest
....shall not cease"

Genesis 8:22

Wrinkled Flowers...Huh???

"And why worry about your clothes? Look at the field lilies!

They don't worry about theirs, Yet King Solomon in all his

glory was not clothed as beautifully as they. And if God cares

so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone

tomorrow, won't He more surely care for you." Matt. 6:28-30

WRINKLED FLOWERS...HUH?

Think about it...have you ever seen a flower with wrinkles on

it's face from worry? Haha! I don't think so! However, I have

seen people dressed in the finest, most beautiful clothing, with

scowls and wrinkled brows from worrying. This verse speaks

about worrying that the Lord will not provide, yet from how

many of us are dressed, it's more than apparent that He has

been providing abundantly. Seems like if we are intent on worrying,

we'll allow the smallest thing to initiate it. Worry basically says:

God either doesn't see, or doesn't care about me or my situation...

It implies that He doesn't love me, and nothing could be farther

from the Truth! He invites us to cast our cares upon Him, for He

careth for us. Faith allows Him to answer our needs His own way,

in His own timing. Faith says, "I know that You love me and care

about all these things that concerns me."

Blessings to you today,

Marlene
